A convenient way to compare changes between two dates is to use theTimeCompare tool found in the upper right of the MapBrowser. This works in either PhotoMaps or Terrain mode.
Just click the clock icon and you'll see a slider appear on the map, as above. If you click and drag the blue double-arrow marker on the slider, you can slide the view back and forth between the two dates selected.
To choose the dates to compare, just click one of the two dates shown and a list of the other options will appear for you to choose from.
If you double-click the blue double-arrow marker in the center of the slider, it will switch orientation so that the map is split horizontally instead of vertically.
To deactivate the tool, just click the clock button again.
