After you create a solar job and request a report, you'll receive an email with a download link to a Word document containing your solar report.
The solar report includes an image of the location with photorealistic panels placed at their specified locations. It indicates all the panel, tilt, and orientation parameters you set up.
Notes on the values in your solar report
- The manufacturer power rating for the solar job is the nominal panel power at Standard Test Conditions, multiplied by the number of panels in your installation.
- Annual energy output is calculated based on historical solar irradiance and temperature data at this location, factoring in panel tilt, orientation, system efficiency, and shading. See About the Annual Output calculations in the Solar tool for more information.
- Reduced greenhouse gas emissions are calculated based on averages for the relevant zip code in the US EPA eGRID 9th edition Version 1.0 Year 2010.
- Estimated electricity savings are calculated based on the US Energy Information Administration Electric Power Annual 2013, Table 4 - Residential Sector.
